La Guinda de Cal Talaia
La Guinda is a fully equipped loft-style apartment with a spacious terrace that offers fantastic panoramic views and nature encounters. La Guinda is the perfect place for couples for romantic escapes and relaxing. On the sofa-bed two more guests may sleep which makes La Guinda suitable for small groups as well. In La Guinda you’ll find a curated collection of artworks, sculptures and paintings. And be prepared for splendid starry skies and bird concerts or deers strolling in the morning light.

La Guinda means the cherry that tops the cream cake in Catalan and that’s what we hope you experience in this cosy lodging. In the mezzanine you’ll find the bedroom with a queen size bed, the wardrobe and the working desk. On the ground floor we’ve arranged the kitchen, dining and living room as an open and interconnected space with access to the incredible terrace. Naturally you dispose of a bathroom with shower and all other necessary facilities. In the entrance hallway you’ll find a fire wood storage and space to leave a bicycle or two.
Apart from the private space that offers La Guinda you can use the pool, garden, barbecue and outdoor kitchen and facilities. Moreover you can arrange for an archery session. Our properties comprise as well a leisure area with a dry stone hut, pétanque and picnic zone and the first art sculptures. Moreover you can use a public open air fitness gym in midst of the woods. Our leisure area and the open air gym are about 2.5 km away from Glorieta.
We accept animals but preferably we don’t want them to join you in the bedroom area. For the open character of the lodging, staircase and mezzanine the apartment is not perfectly suited for children and especially infants. Please check for the availability of our other lodging if you want to stay at Cal Talaia in a family context.

La Guinda de Cal Talaia is located in the heart of Catalonia, in the magical, unique and almost unknown region of the Comalats, where the villages survive without commercial areas and new developments. Glorieta, the village dominated by Cal Talaia, is a prime example. Discover towers and castles, forests and fields connected by dry stone walls and almond and olive groves, creating a paradise for butterflies, birds, flowers, mushrooms and the few people and visitors…
The Cister trail which Glorieta is part of connects three monasteries, with Poblet being a World Heritage. Moreover we recommend you to visit Montblanc, Conesa, Guimerà and Forès, but there are a lot more villages and romanic churches to discover. Even a trip to the beach is possible without great effort. The vineyards and modernist cellers of the Conca de Barberà offer enoturism experiences.
Fortunately or unfortunately, there’s no public transport available apart from taxis. We may pick you up at the train and bus stations of Montblanc and Tàrrega if you wish to arrive by public transport. We also may pick you up at the airports of Reus and Barcelona but we will have to charge you a fee. We will charge you for one way from or to Reus airport 30,00€, or from or to Barcelona airport 90,00€
